The Origin…
Sean Hery – Loving father of four, retired travel nurse, pitcher for the 2024 Ryan Kelley Classic Men’s Championship Softball Team, passionate foodie, and a cherished friend. Above all, Sean is my best friend.
In 2023, Sean was diagnosed with colon cancer, which tragically spread to his liver and lungs. However, he never lost his spirit. After helping his team secure their first championship ring in Austin, Texas, we found ourselves in a tattoo shop waiting for a friend. As we waited, he grabbed a pen, wrote something on his arm, and remarked, “I’m gonna see how long this takes.” After speaking with an artist, he was committed. Without hesitation, I knew that this would be my first tattoo. I followed his lead, and soon after, two more friends joined in.
For us, this tattoo symbolized so much: a powerful memory of a special trip to Texas, the championship ring, and most importantly, the bond we shared. For me, having Sean’s handwriting on my skin would be a permanent reminder of our friendship and his courageous fight.
The tattoo has since become a symbol of Sean’s battle, resonating with many who are facing similar struggles. It has inspired friends, family, and countless others to proudly wear the “FCK CANCER” design as a show of support. From jerseys and hoodies to hats and stickers, this symbol has spread far and wide, uniting people in memory of those we've lost and in honor of our dear brother and friend, Sean Hery.
All proceeds from the sales will benefit the Hery family and help continue Sean’s legacy. Thank you for your continued love and support.
We love you Sean..
